Happy Fall EVMA!! The weather is starting to change and the temperature’s have been great for getting out on the trails, when it’s not raining that is.
This Saturday, the 27th is national public lands day. We will be doing some trailwork at York River State Park starting at 9am. Please bring work gloves, water, loppers, and/or rakes if you have them. EVMA will have some other tools out there alread. If anyone can bring a leaf blower it would be appreciated. Please park in the maintenance area on the right hand side of the driveway prior to the guard shack at the main parking lot. Fees for parking will be waived if you lend a hand. Following trail work join us for a cookout and group ride!
Sunday the group ride will be at new quarter park on sunday at 9am.
Another great trip to Douthat State Park is in the books. Great weather and great riding. Thank you to
everyone who helped with dinner on Saturday, Joan Benton, Scott Pendleton, Crystal Richardson. Kirk
and Penny for making our sauce. Thanks to Justin Hlavin for helping cook.
We had a great pot luck dinner on Friday night. A special thanks to Mike Gross for again bringing the
County Grill Barbeque. Mike and Grafton Animal Hospital have been a long time supporter of EVMA.
If you missed Douthat, there is still space at Warrior Creek trip, Oct 10 through 13. Contact Jim Irby at firstname.lastname@example.org or check out the facebook events for more details.
