EVENTS COMING UP

March 10, 2018 – Freedom Park Work Day starting at 9am.  Join EVMA to clean up trails after the recent wind storm. There are trees down on all trails and a lot of small debris. Bring eye and ear protection, gloves and sturdy boots.  Also, bring your bike as some may need to ride out.

April 26-29, 2018 – EVMA spring trip to the Allegrippis Trails at Raystown Lake in Pennsylvania.  The group will stay at the group site in the Meadow Camp at Seven Points.  Registration is open now at www.evma.org.  Cost is $45 per camper in a tent, $55 per camper in an RV. Please also register as a non-camper if you plan to attend but stay elsewhere.  We usually plan on group potluck dinners on Friday and Saturday nights.  Hope to see you there!

OTHER NOTES

The City of Williamsburg has opened a survey for the Master Plan.  Please take time to fill it out. In addition to MTB trails it promotes paved trails, road cycling, and youth programs.

Thank you – A big thank you to a few club members who have stepped up to fill some much-needed positions.  Chris Sikes has taken over membership and Justin Hlavin is the new Trails Secretary.  Mike Benton and Jeff Samuel have shown an interest and we hope to see them in a role soon.

Volunteers Needed – There are a number of board members who need to step down, so volunteers are needed for the club to continue.  President, VP of trails, and ride leaders are needed.  Please contact Jim Irby at president@evma.org if you can help in any way.
