EVENTS COMING UP
March 25th – York County Youth bike races start this weekend. Cost is $25 and first entry covers all races, any additional child entry from the same family is $20. For single races entry is $10 per child/race. You may register at New Quarter Park this weekend, at the York County Parks, Recreation, and Tourism office at 100 County Drive, Yorktown, Va, 23690 (Mon-Fri 8:15-5pm) or New Quarter Park office (Fri-Sun 8-5pm). April 7th – Group ride and meeting at Freedom Park starting at 9am. Please plan to attend.
April 26-29, 2018 – EVMA spring trip to the Allegrippis Trails at Raystown Lake in Pennsylvania. The group will stay at the group site in the Meadow Camp at Seven Points. Registration is open now at www.evma.org. Cost is $45 per camper in a tent, $55 per camper in an RV. Please also register as a non-camper if you plan to attend but stay elsewhere. We usually plan on group potluck dinners on Friday and Saturday nights. Thank you to Justin Hlavin and Eric Van Dusen for coordinating this trip. Hope to see you there!

The City of Williamsburg has opened a survey for the Master Plan. Please take time to fill it out. In addition to MTB trails it promotes paved trails, road cycling, and youth programs.

Thank you - Thanks to everyone who attended the board meeting this past Monday night. A big Thank You to Gregg Hurley who has volunteered to be the new EVMA VP. He will assist in coordinating trail work, concentrating on Freedom Park. Welcome Gregg and thank you for volunteering.
Volunteers Still Needed – There are a number of board members who need to step down, so volunteers are needed for the club to continue. A new president and ride leaders are needed. Please contact Jim Irby at president@evma.org if you can help in any way.
