Tidewater Challenge – Volunteers who can help clear the trail for the Tidewater Challenge can meet at the course on Sunday, October 7th at noon.  If you are interested in participating in the race on October 27th and 28th, visit  https://www.bikereg.com/31st-annual-tidewater-mountain-bike-challenge to register.

Coming Soon – Night rides will start after the clocks turn back, so start digging out and charging up your lights.  We can only ride in parks where we have permission and any other night riding is considered trespassing.  All night rides will have at least 2 people, everyone will sign in and stick together as a group.  More details coming soon.

OTHER NOTES

Fall trip to Douthat - Thank you to everyone who made the trip out to Douthat.  Despite some rain, I think everyone had a great time!

Colonial Revolution Team – Colonial Revolution team is still recruiting talented middle and high school riders for their team.  Visit www.colonialrevolutionmtb.org for more details.

Grant – EVMA recently received a grant from REI to purchase new tools/equipment.  The board is currently making some decisions on how to properly spend the money.

Volunteers Still Needed – Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to serve as board members.  We are still looking for ride leaders and people to help with various events.  Please contact Mike Benton at president@evma.org if you can help in any way.
