March 3, 2018 – No group ride or meeting this month.  Dirt Divas will ride at 10 am Saturday at Freedom Park (but all are welcome).  The weather will be decent this weekend so jump on EVMA chatter and organize your own ride with friends.

Now through March 7th, 2018 –Next week is the LAST WEEK for night rides so if you haven’t gone, get out there.  Tuesdays at Harwoods Mill, Wednesdays at New Quarter Park, and Thursdays at Freedom Park.  All rides start PROMPTLY at 6 pm (which means be ready to go at 6) and end by 7:45.  All riders must be out of the park by 8:00 pm.  Jump on Facebook if you plan to ride.  Make a plan to come out and ride after work and hang out with your mountain bike friends!

April 26-29, 2018 – EVMA spring trip to the Allegrippis Trails at Raystown Lake in Pennsylvania.  The group will stay at the group site in the Meadow Camp at Seven Points.  Registration is open now at www.evma.org.  Cost is $45 per camper in a tent, $55 per camper in an RV. Please also register as a non-camper if you plan to attend but stay elsewhere.  We usually plan on group potluck dinners on Friday and Saturday nights.  Hope to see you there!

Thank you – A big thank you to a few club members who have stepped up to fill some much-needed positions.  Chris Sikes has taken over membership and Justin Hlavin is the new Trails Secretary.  Mike Benton and Jeff Samuel have shown an interest and we hope to see them in a role soon.

Volunteers Needed – There are a number of board members who need to step down, so volunteers are needed for the club to continue.  President, VP of trails, and ride leaders are needed.  Please contact Jim Irby at president@evma.org if you can help in any way.

Hope to see you on the trails!
